Dorice Kaijage is currently serving as our first Executive Director of Masafa, where she oversees the organization’s efforts to improve the lives of children in Tanzania. As the head of the organization, she is charged with the responsibility of overseeing operations, finances, programs, staff, and volunteers. She drives strategic planning, fundraising, and stakeholder relationships to achieve the organization’s mission and vision. With a strong background in the non-profit sector, Dorice has dedicated her career to empowering marginalized communities, particularly women and children in Tanzania which strongly reflects our mission. She has successfully developed impactful programs that provide support to children and women throughout the country. Dorice’s expertise lies in managing and building a diverse portfolio of programs, leading teams, and mobilizing resources for various initiatives. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Dar es Salaam and has received extensive training on women’s and children’s policies and rights.
